Christian Lacroix Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2001-2002. RUNWAY MAGAZINE ® Collections. RUNWAY NOW / RUNWAY NEW
Christian Lacroix, like any great designer, has his periods. After Spanish inspired corsets and hats, and surrealist painted dresses, he created the world “out of pieces”. When you look at these collections created 20 years ago you have an impression that this is some sort of creative patchwork, inspired by the world of Vivienne Westwood, as it has some “trash” touches, or “royal trash” style. And this is another remarkable period of the great designer, and unmistakable identity.
