Ermenegildo Zegna and Fear of God join forces and from the spontaneous dialogue between Alessandro Sartori and Jerry Lorenzo a new grammar of style is born: a complete collection that is presented in early March, during the Paris Women’s Fashion Week.
At the end of the day, why not present absolutely excellent sartorial pieces during the women’s fashion week. Many designers present collections for women during menswear. Exceptional collection deserves an exceptional look.
Every woman in this world, who has a little sense of class and loves elegant men, knows Ermenegildo Zegna, finest tailor Italian house 1910. You can always said “like my father used to do it”, or in this case “wear it”. I’d certainly wish to have one Zegna tailor made for me, which is not an easy task.
This collection it is truly an exception, and pearl of this fashion week. Presentation was absolutely fabulous. It was pleasure to see not usual for women fashion week public. In addition several designers were spotted at the presentation, like artistic director of Louis Vuitton fashion house Nicolas Ghesquiere, who also came to admire and greet the designers Alessandro Sartori and Jerry Lorenzo.
The desire to collaborate on a common project was triggered between the artistic director of Ermenegildo Zegna, Alessandro Sartori and the founder of Fear of God, Jerry Lorenzo, Californian based modern luxury brand for men. With the objective of identifying and following a new path of masculine elegance that is also wearable for women, the frank and authentic conversation between two apparently distant worlds defines an immediate and contemporary wardrobe. A new vocabulary that proposes aesthetic canons that are as free from pre-built models and gender paradigms as possible.
The excellence of Ermenegildo Zegna’s sartorial take and the sophisticated leisurewear of Fear of God blend naturally, mixing and merging, reinventing silhouettes and proportions in a continuous cross-reference between Milan and Los Angeles. A previously unexplored line, made of materials that unveil unexpected interpretations, rigorously rooted in the highest quality. A synthesis of two identities that is reconfirmed through the stylized Zegna logo, written using the font that distinguishes Fear of God has an outstanding success.
