This collection is another fabulous complication, some sort of “editor picks” by Olivier Rousteing for Balmain Cruise 2021 Resort collection. He picks and edits the known looks of Chanel, Pierre Cardin, Hermes or Versace, Dolce Gabbana and Moschino of course. Olivier Rousteing doesn’t dare anymore to copy Thierry Mugler, as he publicly made a scandal about it, which was happily tossed out by Kim Kardashian (old friend of Olivier Rousteing), who bought several very expensive pieces from Thierry Mugler. This time he decided to add looks of Moschino. There’s also reference to Jean Charles de Castelbajac, who always worked with primary colors, and today creates collections for BENETON. But let’s go look by look. First of all this collection of course has no story or line.
